| A Florida
Boating Safety Course is available at no cost through the Florida
Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) with its “How
to Boat Smart” workbook. For more information, contact

Low cost
classroom courses are offered by both organizations. For more

Chapman
School of Seamanship |
| The
world-renowned Chapman School of Seamanship in Stuart offers
courses that combine classroom education with at-the-helm training
onboard a fleet of power and sailing vessels. Chapman programs
include a Youth Course (11-17 years old) offered in the summer
and Chapman Marine Training, with graduation credits, for Martin
County high school juniors and seniors during the school year.
Adult recreational boating and career oriented trained is offered
