Legislative
Strength
MIATC monitors legislative activities, both on the local and
the state level. The association keeps local government officials
apprised of the industry's position on issues and it keeps its
members informed about pending governmental action. MIATC also
is affiliated with a Political Action Committee, which contributes
to the campaigns of those leaders who are responsive to the
marine industry's needs. There IS strength in a unified voice
and membership numbers. |

Automatic
Membership in State Association
Your membership in MIATC also gives you a voice at the state
level. The Marine Industries Association of Florida (MIAF) and
its lobbying firm also monitor state legislative activities
and introduce legislation that benefits our industry. |
