3rd ANNUAL
ST. LUCIE COUNTY
BOAT SHOW

RETURNS TO
TRADITION FIELD

APRIL 20-22, 2007

Port St. Lucie, FL – The St. Lucie County Boat Show returns to Tradition Field in Port St. Lucie for its third year on April 20, 21 and 22. This year’s show will once again feature “Boats & Bats,” showcasing two of America’s favorite pastimes – boating and baseball. An exciting new addition to this year’s show will be the nautical flea market featuring pre-owned boats and everything from fishing equipment to props and over-stocked products for the marine industry.

“When you combine the new nautical flea market with our traditional local and regional exhibitors that will be featuring new boats up to 35 feet in length, you have something to suit every taste and budget” said Rick Allen of AllSports Productions, producer of the St. Lucie County and Stuart Boat Shows.

The St. Lucie County Boat Show offers an unmatched day of fun for the whole family with new and pre-owned boats on display, nautical equipment, seminars, and festive foods, plus an evening of baseball, all for one low price. The $5 admission price to the boat show on Friday or Saturday includes tickets to that evening’s St. Lucie Mets and Daytona Cubs baseball game, compliments of the St. Lucie County Boat Show’s exhibitors.

A number of fishing seminars will be held throughout the weekend. Anchor’s Aweigh will be sponsoring local fishing guides who will share their expertise with show attendees at no charge.

A free rod and reel will be given to the first 100 kids (under 12, when accompanied by an adult), attending the “Teach a Kid to Fish” seminar at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 21.

Exhibits at the St. Lucie County Boat Show will feature the latest models of weekend cruisers, sport fishing boats, center consoles, high-performance boats, bass boats, skiffs and personal watercraft. Financing and insurance specialists, marine and fishing equipment, boatlifts, trailers, jewelry and nautical clothing also will be featured at the show. For the first time, a nautical flea market will offer exhibitors the opportunity to sell pre-owned boats, discontinued and over-stocked merchandise, used equipment, and more.

On-site parking is free and admission to the show is only $5 dollars with children under 12 free. Paid admission to Friday or Saturday’s boat show will include tickets for the entire family to that night’s baseball game. The St. Lucie County Boat Show is conveniently located at Tradition Field, 525 NW Peacock Blvd. in Port St. Lucie, just off I-95. Show hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Game times start at 7:00 p.m. on Friday and 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Vera Locke, executive director of the Marine Industries Association of the Treasure Coast, noted that most boat owners in the state keep their boats on trailers – an audience to which this show is targeted. “Boating and fishing are a great way for parents to spend quality time with their children,” she said. “And what could be better than combining a day at the St. Lucie County Boat Show with a night of baseball?"
The St. Lucie County Boat Show is produced, managed, and sponsored by AllSports Productions, Inc., and is owned by the Marine Industries Association of the Treasure Coast.
